GDPR Policy

This policy describes how Alanya Turistik İşletmeciler Derneği (ALTİD), as the data controller for this portal, collects and processes personal data, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

Data controller

Alanya Turistik İşletmeciler Derneği (ALTİD), Alanya, Türkiye — www.altid.org.tr.

What data we collect

When your hotel or organisation is registered on this portal, we collect:

  • your full name;
  • your e-mail address, used for signing in and for notices about surveys;
  • optionally, a username and preferred display language;
  • the occupancy and source-market statistics you submit for your hotel through the survey forms.

We also keep a log of the pages served on this site, to produce usage statistics. For each page view we store:

  • the time, the page address (without any query string), the page's technical name and its response time;
  • the site language, your browser's primary language, and your device type, browser and operating system;
  • the traffic source (the referring website or campaign tag);
  • if you are signed in, your user account.

We do not store your IP address, cookies, or the contents of forms. Visitors are told apart only by an anonymous code computed from the date, your IP address and your browser type; the code changes every day, cannot be turned back into your address, and cannot be used to recognise you on another day. For signed-in users, page views are linked to their account instead.

See the Cookie Policy for the small number of cookies used.

Why we process this data

Account data is processed to grant access to the portal and identify submissions to your hotel or organisation. Survey data is processed to compile regional occupancy and source-market statistics for our members. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in administering our association's data collection (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where applicable, your consent given by submitting survey data through the portal (Art. 6(1)(a)).

Usage statistics are processed to understand which parts of the site are used, to find broken links, and to improve the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object under Privacy Choices, by sending a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal from your browser, or by contacting us.

Your privacy choices

You can object to the anonymous statistics, and any optional feature that may be added in the future will work only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), Art. 7; KVKK Art. 5(1) and Art. 3(1)(a)). To be able to show that you were informed and what you chose, we keep a consent record of every decision: a random receipt number, the time, your choice per category, the version of the information shown to you, the interface language, whether your browser sent a privacy signal and, if you are signed in, your account. We do not store your IP address or browser details in it. The legal basis is our obligation to demonstrate consent and to honour objections (Art. 7(1), Art. 5(2) GDPR). Consent records are kept for 3 years and then deleted. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under Privacy Choices; withdrawing does not affect what happened before.

Sharing and transfers

Your data is used only for portal administration and statistical analysis by ALTİD. Survey data is published only as anonymized, aggregate regional and source-market statistics — no individual hotel data is made accessible to any third party. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except where a legal obligation requires us to do so. The data is stored on servers managed for ALTİD and is accessible only to authorised staff. Pictures from other websites are fetched by our server, not your browser, and are kept for up to 7 days.

Retention

Account and survey records are kept for as long as they are needed for the administration and analysis of our association's data collection and are deleted or anonymised when no longer required, unless a longer period is required by law.

Page-view records are kept only as long as they are needed for the usage statistics and are deleted when no longer required.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and KVKK you have the right to:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • request that inaccurate data be corrected;
  • request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten");
  • request that processing be restricted, or object to processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
  • lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority: in Türkiye the Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu, www.kvkk.gov.tr), in the EU the data protection authority of your country of residence.
Exercising your rights

To exercise any of these rights, please contact ALTİD through www.altid.org.tr. We will respond to requests within the period required by the applicable law.
