The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, met with tourism professionals at the Rubi Platinum Hotel in Alanya as part of his program in Antalya. During the meeting, Burhan Sili, President of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD) and Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Hotel Federation (TÜROFED), presented a document to Minister Ersoy outlining the actions that need to be taken regarding Alanya's tourism sector.
Speaking during the visit, Minister Ersoy said, "The season is about to begin, and we wanted to visit Antalya, which is considered the tourism capital. In this context, we also came to Alanya. The main goal is to extend tourism in cities like Antalya to 12 months of the year. It is possible to achieve this through the work we will do. In this context, we are having meetings with both industry representatives and municipalities. Municipal services are very important in tourism cities. From the municipal workers who keep the streets clean to the waiters in the restaurants, everyone is a part of the sector. The best way to achieve this is through the municipalities. When I was appointed as Minister, I said this, and we can only achieve it by working together."
