Surf and SUP training continues with the project brought to the city by the Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD), which has been included within the scope of the Western Mediterranean Development Agency's (BAKA) "Alternative Tourism Development Financial Support Program." SUP surfing training and promotion were conducted at Galip Dere Beach under the Alanya Municipality. Alanya Surf Team member Mehmet Özgen stated, “This project is continuing in a healthy manner. SUP is a sporting activity that can be carried out during the winter when there are no waves and we cannot do wave surfing, and throughout the entire summer season. By circling the castle with a surfboard, we can show the historical peninsula to guests from the sea."
