The opening ceremony of the "800th Anniversary of the Conquest of Alanya/Alaiye and the Alaaddin Keykubat Symposium," organized by Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) with the contribution of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), in honor of the 800th anniversary of the conquest of Alanya, was held at the Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat Conference Hall of the Faculty of Education.
Antalya Governor Ersin Yazıcı presented plaques of appreciation to Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, who contributed to the symposium, to Deputy Chairman of the Turkish History Institution, Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Kılınç, and to ALTİD Deputy Chairman Hızır Bozdoğan.
