The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) has launched the Alanya Camp organization for the Miss Finland Beauty Pageant, which will be held for the 4th time this year through a joint collaboration with the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Detur. At a cocktail held at the Sunprime C-Lounge Hotel, the 10 finalists of Miss Finland, a beauty pageant that is highly popular in Finland, were introduced to local and foreign members of the press. Members of the Scandinavian, Lithuanian, and Turkish press attended the event.
“PEACE AND SECURITY ORGANIZATION”
Adem Murat Yücel, the President of ALTAV who also serves as the Mayor of Alanya, delivered the opening speech of the cocktail and stated, “As Alanya, we are happy to host such events that will contribute to our tourism. These kinds of international organizations are the greatest indicator that the security concerns currently experienced worldwide are being replaced by peace and trust.”

Mayor Yücel, stating that as Alanya Municipality they host nearly 70 international sports organizations every year, said, “We host major international sports organizations such as the Triathlon and the Presidential Cycling Tour. Furthermore, our municipality organizes dozens of international culture and art events every year, such as the Tourism and Art Festival, Jazz Festival, Sculpture Symposium, and Christmas Market.

“In our Alanya, where 17 thousand resident foreigners from 79 countries live, I consider hosting the Miss Finland Beauty Pageant—one of the international organizations we view as an opportunity to convey the peace, security, and culture of coexistence in Alanya to the entire world—to be very important in this regard,” they stated.
“THE BEAUTY OF ALANYA WILL BE SELECTED”
The Finnish beauties, who will be camping in Alanya for one week, will participate in shoots at Alanya’s historical and natural sites. These images will be used during live broadcast breaks and in pre-competition final promotions during the final competition in Finland. On the evening of April 28, the "Alanya Beauty" will be selected at a competition to be held in the Banana Hotel Ballroom. It is stated that the event, which is also supported by the Alanya Association of Tourism Professionals (ALTİD), is a very important promotional activity for Alanya. On the other hand, Çiğdem Aysu, the lead actress of the film Ayaz, known for her modest personality, also attended the night.
