Launched on June 18, 2008, the Museum Pass allows Turkish citizens to visit 185 museums and 130 archaeological sites affiliated with the ministry without limit for one year. This smart card, priced at 20 YTL and issued under the main sponsorship of TÜRSAB, will not be valid at sites affiliated with the Directorate of National Palaces, such as Dolmabahçe Palace. The Museum Pass can be obtained by presenting an identity card at museum ticket offices, from the TÜRSAB center, from certain travel agencies, and via the internet.

Entrance fees for museums, historical buildings converted into museums, and organized archaeological sites are being redefined.
With the "Müzekart" implemented as of June 18, 2008, citizens will be able to visit as many of the more than 300 museums and archaeological sites affiliated with the Ministry in Türkiye as they wish for one year, for only 20 YTL. Müzekart will not be valid in palaces and museums affiliated with the Presidency of National Palaces, such as Dolmabahçe Palace. Minister Günay, stating that they will continue to work towards developing the card and increasing the number of museums and archaeological sites where it is valid after the first year of its implementation, said they are considering including special museums in this project in the coming years.
