As a result of the contacts established at the tourism fair held in Belgrade in cooperation with ALTAV, ALTİD, and THY, 6 representatives from agencies specializing in congress tourism visited Alanya and toured the congress halls of its member facilities. Elvan Güneş, a member of the ALTAV Board of Directors, emphasized the importance of fairs, stating that this visit was a result of their efforts and that the work would continue with the contributions of Adem Murat Yücel. ALTİD President Burhan Sili explained that the facilities in Alanya, thanks to their congress halls, can accommodate groups of 4-5 thousand people, allowing them to stay with their families, and that the preference of these groups for the low season contributes to the occupancy rate being spread throughout the year.

Burhan Sili, the President of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), stated, "In recent years, conference groups have also started to prefer Alanya."
In collaboration with the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV), the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), and Turkish Airlines (THY), contacts made at a tourism fair held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, in February resulted in the arrival of 6 representatives from agencies specializing in conference tourism to Alanya. The officials, who visited the conference halls of hotels that are members of ALTİD, also had the opportunity to take a city tour and get to know Alanya better. Elvan Güneş, a member of the Board of Directors of ALTAV, stated that there are statements suggesting that fairs are unimportant, and said, "Fairs have never lost their importance for Alanya. As the management of ALTAV, we always make arrangements at every fair for a musician to shoot a music video in Alanya, for social media influencers to visit our city, and for groups of agencies to be hosted. Our business is communication. As volunteers of the foundation, we are constantly striving to find out how we can benefit our city and which doors we can open." Güneş emphasized that, as a result of the work carried out to diversify the region's tourism, the most important agency representatives from Serbia have come to Alanya, and added, "The presence of agency representatives specializing in conference tourism here is a result of our efforts. With the contributions of our ALTAV president and our Mayor, Mr. Adem Murat Yücel, we will continue our work tirelessly for Alanya."
ALTİD Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED), Burhan Sili, stated that the promotional activities for extending the season, which can be briefly described as "congress tourism," are of great importance for Alanya. "We have tourist facilities with a congress hall capacity of 1,500 people. Our efforts to welcome guests from all markets, regardless of size, are also reflected in the field of congress tourism. The fact that the congress halls are located within tourist facilities eliminates transportation problems and allows congress participants to stay in hotels with their families. This means that a congress of 1,500 people can be attended by approximately 4,000 to 5,000 guests," he said. Emphasizing that both domestic and international congress groups have increasingly preferred Alanya in recent years, Chairman Sili stated, "The preference of these groups for the low season rather than the high season is causing the occupancy rates to be distributed throughout the year."
