Genel Tanıtım

Within the framework of the "Kızılkule - Tophane axis" project, which is part of the Alanya Castle Protection and Development Zoning Plan, a maritime and shipbuilding museum could be established in the shipyard built by Seljuk Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat in 1227. With the approval of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the General Directorate of National Real Estate allocated the land to the Alanya Municipality on January 8th for the purpose of conservation. Sipahioğlu stated that the "Kızılkule - Tophane axis" project will significantly contribute to the recognition of the name Alanya within the tourism and cultural community. "Tourists will not just visit Kızılkule and leave. Many of us are unaware of the history of these historical sites. How can we explain it to someone from abroad if we ourselves don't know it? In the world, these assets are referred to as 'living heritage.' This museum will be a place that tells and shows the past, and it will be a meeting point for those interested in history and culture."
