Reservations are increasing in Austria.

ALTAV and ALTİD Board Member Elvan Güneş represented Alanya at an international tourism fair held in Vienna, continuing promotional activities. Güneş stated that after a decline in the Austrian market over the past two years, a rise of approximately 15% began in 2018 reservations, and that the Austrian Foreign Minister's visit to Turkey in January was viewed positively. In discussions with tour operators, it was shared that, if no unforeseen issues arise, the number of visitors in 2019 is expected to reach 512,000, the same as in 2014.

Tanıtım

Elvan Güneş, a member of the Board of Directors of the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) and the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), represented Alanya at an international tourism fair held in Austria. Following her meetings and observations, Güneş stated the following: "ALTAV continued its promotional activities at the international tourism fair held in Vienna, Austria, from January 11th to 14th. Austria was among the first to react to the political crisis affecting the European market. Over the past two years, there has been a decline in the Austrian market, as in the rest of Europe. According to the information I gathered, there has been an increase in reservations starting in 2018, with a growth rate of approximately 15%. In the past month, reports in the Austrian press have been more moderate. The upcoming visit of the Austrian Foreign Minister to Turkey in January is being viewed positively. Authorities believe that the relationship is entering a normalization process. In my meetings with tour operators, I was informed that, if there are no unforeseen circumstances, we will gradually reach a figure of 512,000 people in 2019, which was the number recorded in 2014."
