“WE ARE OPEN TO COOPERATION BETWEEN ALSİAD AND ALTAV”

Akın Tabaklar, President of the Alanya Industrialists and Businessmen Association (ALSİAD), also attended the meeting. Stating that every tradesman in Alanya is dependent on tourism, Tabaklar said, “We are affected by every development experienced in tourism. Tourists love safe harbors. Countries that earn money from tourism use Turkey's situation in the press. The domestic market, which carries great importance on such days, holds a 10 percent share in Alanya. Alanya tourism consists of 90 percent foreign guests. As ALSİAD, we want to cooperate with ALTAV. We can send invitations to Alanya to all our members across Turkey. We want to conduct work on this matter.”

“LET'S ATTEND THE FAIRS TOGETHER”

ALTAV Vice President Mehmet Dahaoğlu, stating that they feel the support of all institutions operating in Alanya, said, “These types of supports encourage us. I believe we will achieve great things together. If we attend some fairs together, we will have conducted market analyses together and identified the difficulties being experienced all together. ALSİAD’s support is very important. Every business in Alanya earns its living from tourism. In this sector, which is hanging by a thread, even the citizen on the street has much work to do. If we act together, we can overcome the difficulties.”
