Pointing out that they aim to create a tourism center similar to Belek within the distance between Manavgat and Alanya, from the Akseki Junction to the Konaklı Town, Badak stated that Antalya is the 3rd most visited city in the world with 10.3 million [tourists] this year; he explained that while Belek, which was planned and implemented over 30 years in the west of Antalya, has 14 golf courses within a 17 km area, the area between the Akseki Junction and Konaklı Town is twice as large as the area in Belek. He said, “We want to create a planned tourism area including golf facilities, day-trip relaxation areas, agricultural lands, and cycling and walking paths in these locations, and for this purpose, we have consulted the views of city administrators, non-governmental organizations, mayors, and neighborhood headmen in Alanya and Manavgat.”

Stating that they have been conducting a study lasting 6 months with the Regional Directorate of Highways, Badak conveyed the following information: "By moving the D-400 Highway a few kilometers to the north, the area that would be formed on the seaside could be planned as a tourism city; starting from the idea of turning this area into a tourism city while protecting the 10-15 villages, agricultural areas, and forest areas within it, we brought the matter to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Ministry's General Directorate of Investment and Operations expressed that this could be suitable for Antalya tourism; furthermore, it was reported that there is no problem from the perspective of the Ministry of Finance."

ALTSO President Kerim Aydoğan stated that the project would provide tremendous added value to the region.
