“PROMOTION WITH FACEBOOK, TWITTER, AND INSTAGRAM”
Stating that world cities that take a share from tourism place great importance on art, that art and tourism are as closely linked as flesh and bone, and that art performs hidden promotion and strengthens the image in the region, Burhan Sili, Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED) and President of ALTİD, said, “The internet medium is being used quite actively today. By producing works of art and exhibiting them at different points of the city, our domestic and foreign guests publishing the photos and videos they take in front of these works on social sharing sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram provides great contributions to the promotion of Alanya. In Turkey, despite being a district, the fact that the Alanya sculpture symposium has been maintained for 11 years results in a return that serves as an important contribution to the brand value of the city.”
