The producers who met with representatives at the international tourism fair "TT Warsaw" held in Warsaw last year, were in Alanya for a TV program shoot. As part of Alanya's promotional activities, two different documentary shoots were carried out. These productions will be broadcast on popular TV channels in Poland, a country with a population of 38 million. These channels operate in Poland and are affiliated with the world-renowned Discovery production company. Poland is one of Antalya and Alanya's main markets. Poles prefer Turkey as a vacation destination second only to Greece. In 2018, the number of people who came to Turkey from Poland was 646,000, and this number approached 900,000 in 2019.
“TVN Style,” a channel that produces content on fashion, health, and beauty, and which creates programs specifically for women, and “Travel Channel,” a world-renowned travel channel, will broadcast two different documentaries about Alanya in the coming months, with the support of the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV). Within the framework of documentary programs themed “I am Polish” and “World Weddings,” the life story of a Polish resident of Alanya, and the wedding preparations, henna night, and life stories of a couple getting married in Alanya, will be featured.
