At the Career Summit VIII Employment Fair, organized by Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ), a large number of young talents met with nearly 100 companies. The "Career Summit VIII Employment Fair" was held in cooperation with Alanya University, Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), and with the contribution of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), hosted by ALKÜ. The fair, held at the Life Center in the ALKÜ Kestel Campus, was attended by ALKÜ Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kılıç and Prof. Dr. Atıf Bayramoğlu, ALTSO Chairman Eray Erdem, ALTİD Chairman Burhan Sili, Alanya İŞKUR Director Selami Harman, faculty deans, vocational school directors, academics, students, and companies in the tourism sector.
CHAIRMAN SİLİ: "OUR COLLABORATIONS WILL DEVELOP" Emphasizing the importance of public-private sector collaborations, ALTİD Chairman Burhan Sili said that the fair held at ALKÜ was very valuable for the Alanya region. Chairman Sili stated that the fair provided some of the qualified personnel employment and said, "In this regard, we will continue to do our best to ensure that this collaboration develops and continues. Since the Alanya region is a region dependent on tourism, everyone here is a member of ours. Our young people who want to improve their profession will work and reinforce their knowledge and manners on the path to becoming managers. In this sense, I wish the fair to be beneficial to all of us, to Alanya, and to the tourism sector." After the speeches, certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants for their support. Subsequently, the delegation toured the fair area, met with students and company representatives, and exchanged information about the fair. Students and companies stated that the fair was very beneficial, emphasizing that the discussions held were very important for both sides.
CONFERENCES WERE HELD Within the scope of the fair, informational and experiential training sessions were organized for students. In the conference hall of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences of ALKÜ, Job and Career Counselor Sebahattin Kayaalp gave a lecture on "Job Search Skills Training." In the "Digital Marketing Strategies Training for Tourism Businesses on TripAdvisor," held in the Alev Alatlı Conference Hall, Mehmet Lüleci, Chairman of LLC Agency, shared his experience and knowledge with the students. The events concluded with a certificate of appreciation and a group photo session.
