Seda Özbek, who held meetings in Riga with the Product Managers and General Managers of Tez Tour and Nova Tours, as well as with the Air Baltić Regional Manager, exchanged detailed information about Alanya. Stating that Istanbul, Marmaris, and Antalya are leading in the Latvian market, which has recorded a 12% increase since 2005, Özbek said that both operators, agency owners, and the public have shown intense interest following our participation in the fair last year and this year. Hakan Helva, the Helsinki Promotion Counselor serving at the fair, also expressed that they would work with pleasure in cooperation with ALTAV, particularly regarding the sending of press groups to Alanya. Our stand was also visited by our Ambassador to Riga Duray Polat and Barbaros Tuna Erdem.

At the Ministry stand, Alanya was the only presence besides THY, and Alanya was also what brought the Turkey stand to life. For the Alanya materials that received intense interest, queues formed specifically for the Alanya posters and the Alanya CD, even on the professional day of the fair.

The dancers from the Latvian folk dance ensemble, who performed at the Alanya Culture and Art Festival last year, also showed intense interest in the stand.
