The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV), as a result of the contacts established during a workshop it attended in January at the Finland Tourism Fair upon the invitation of Helsinki Cultural and Tourism Counselor Arzu Emel Yıldız, had recently hosted Swedish travel blogger Ida Eriksson in Alanya and Cappadocia for 9 days as a result of cooperation with the Stockholm Cultural and Tourism Counselor.
Immediately following this important promotional work carried out via social media, ALTAV reaped the second fruit of its blogger meetings in Finland by also hosting Veronika Tomanova, one of the most important travel bloggers from the Czech Republic, in Alanya.
Tomanova, who has a large audience on Czech and English platforms, was hosted by ALTAV in Alanya for 1 week, where she experienced the activities a tourist visiting Alanya can do and gained extensive knowledge about Alanya.
Stating that they conducted the joint work regarding Tomanova’s arrival in Alanya together with Zurich Culture and Tourism Counselor Hilal Demirel, ALTAV Board Member Şükrü Cimrin noted that, with Demirel’s contributions, they ensured Tomanova’s arrival at Alanya-Gazipaşa Airport via Turkish Airlines (THY) through Munich, and stated that the promotion of this airport, which serves as an alternative to Antalya, is important. Cimrin also said that ALTAV officials host the social media influencers and members of the press they communicate with at approximately 30 international fairs attended every year in Alanya for news studies, adding, “In addition to this, we use different promotion methods by also ensuring that famous artists film music videos in Alanya.”
