At the 39th International Belgrade Tourism Fair held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, in FEBRUARY, the two winners of the Alanya holiday raffle—organized with the cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Turkish Airlines (THY), and the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV), and the contributions of the Alanya Association of Tourism Professionals (ALTİD)—arrived in Alanya. The winners had been determined during the raffle held alongside a performance by Serbian Popstar Ana Kokic at the Turkey stand. “TURKEY IS AN EXEMPLARY COUNTRY IN HOSPITALITY” In a statement made to ALTAV officials, Serbian winner Slobodan Čvorović said, “I have come to Alanya for the fifth time, and my friend is here for the first time. I have a travel agency in Serbia. My friend is a civil servant. I teach classes at higher education institutions in my country. I always cite Turkey as an example regarding hospitality and guest welcoming. I explain the importance of these matters to my students using the example of Turkey. “A 5-STAR HOTEL IN SPAIN OR ITALY EQUALS A 3-STAR HOTEL IN TURKEY” 5-star hotels in Spain and Italy are of the same quality as 3-star hotels in Turkey. There is an extraordinary quality of service here. I plan to bring students from the Hotel Management Department in Belgrade to Turkey for internships. I aim to carry out work so that our cultures can become closer to one another,” he said.
