A forum of a preparatory and planning nature will be held in Alanya between 27.08.2015 and 02.09.2015 for the "1st Crystal Castle International Alanya Film Festival" events, which the Türk Sinema Vakfı prepared to organize in Alanya for the first time in 2016. There will be meetings and film screenings during the forum. Organization officials Serdar Tüzüntürk and Yulia Petrova visited the management of the festival supporter Alanya Turistik İşletmeciler Derneği (ALTİD) to provide information regarding the international cinema festival.
“THERE ARE FREE FILM SCREENINGS”
Stating that they will bring Russia's famous cinema artists and Russian press members to Alanya, organization official Petrova noted that free Russian and Turkish film screenings will also take place at the Alanya Cultural Center (AKM) between August 28 and September 1, highlighting that cultural and artistic interaction will be established between the two countries.
“IT WILL FIND ITS PLACE IN THE RUSSIAN MARKET”
Stating that they support activities that will contribute to the promotion of Alanya, ALTİD President and Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED) Board Member Burhan Sili said, “In light of preliminary meetings, the 1st Crystal Castle International Alanya Film Festival, which will be held for the first time in 2016, is an important promotional work. I find the approach of promoting Alanya through its cultural and artistic fabric, rather than just through the sea, sand, and sun trilogy, to be different and beneficial. I believe this work will find its counterpart in the Russian market.”
The Crystal Castle International Alanya Film Festival is also supported by the Alanya District Governorate, Alanya Municipality, Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), and the Alanya Promotion Foundation (ALTAV).
