ALTİD President Cem Özcan stated that the Ankara contacts were productive and expressed that they would continue to work together with all stakeholders to strengthen the economy of Alanya.

Alanya’s priority problems and demands for solutions were conveyed to the relevant ministries in Ankara by the Alanya delegation, which was formed under the chairmanship of Alanya District Governor Şakir Öner Öztürk. The delegation included Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik, ALTSO President Eray Erdem, ALTİD President Cem Özcan, ALKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan, and tourism stakeholders.
ALTİD President Cem Özcan, in his statement regarding the visits, stated that the Ankara contacts were extremely productive and expressed the following:
“We visited our former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Antalya Deputy, Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, and our Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, to conduct comprehensive evaluations on the present and future of Alanya tourism. By sharing our 2026–2030 Tourism Master Plan, we requested opinions and support from our ministry. Additionally, we brought the Antalya–Alanya intra-city rail system project to the agenda. We drew attention to the fact that strengthening the transportation infrastructure would provide a great contribution to both tourism and urban life. We conveyed the supply issues regarding fire-resistant door applications in touristic facilities; we also communicated the industry's demand that licenses should not be revoked while hotels are closed. Stating that our municipality would support businesses in this regard, we expressed that we expect the same approach from our ministry. We were very pleased that our Honorable Minister received this request positively. Finally, the delegation, which met with the AK Party Group Deputy Chairman of the TBMM, Mr. Abdullah Güler, strongly conveyed their demands for the resolution of Alanya's priority needs.”
Following all these contacts, Cem Özcan visited Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik, Faculty of Tourism Dean Prof. Dr. Burçin Cevdet Çetinsöz, ALTAV President Abdurrahman Açıkalın and Alper Gencelli from the ALTAV management, as well as CHP Antalya Deputy Aykut Kaya and Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş.
“We have carried Alanya’s problems to Ankara with a single voice and a single heart. We thank our ministers and members of parliament for the interest and support they have shown. We will continue to work together with all our stakeholders so that Alanya’s economy achieves a stronger and more sustainable structure.”
