The Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD) Elective Ordinary General Assembly was held at the Alanya Cultural Center (AKM). The incumbent president, Burhan Sili, who entered the election as the sole candidate, was re-elected to the presidency. Amendments to the bylaws were also made during the general assembly. Speaking at the general assembly, which was attended by Alanya District Governor Dr. Hasan Tanrıseven, Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Alanya Coordinator Hüseyin Güney, and tourism professionals, ALTİD President Sili stated that with the renewed bylaws, municipality-licensed tourist facilities can also become members of ALTİD. President Sili said, “We are in a period where we need unity and togetherness. Together with the new administration and all stakeholders, we will carry Alanya tourism to better points.” District Governor Tanrıseven spoke saying, “Alanya should renew itself by working with universities. We will continue to provide support to ALTİD." Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, on the other hand, said, “Our tourism has been affected due to the economic contraction both in the world and in Türkiye. Everyone must work together.” With the amendments made to the bylaws, it was ensured that foreigners residing in Türkiye can become members of the association and that the number of principal members was increased from 15 to 19.
