Muammer Çınar, Director of Ümit Altay Hotel Management School, visited ALTİD accompanied by educators and food and beverage service workshop students. School Director Muammer Çınar thanked ALTİD President Gülçin Güner and the Board of Directors for the support provided to the team that will participate as contestants on behalf of the school in the 11th Istanbul International Kitchen Days and Gastronomy Festival, to be held between February 5-10, 2013, at the Istanbul Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center, as well as for the site inspections and contact visits. While expressing the industry's needs in service and other branches, he stated that they could submit a request to the Ministry of National Education to increase the number of students in this branch starting from the next academic year. The industry's expectations and findings regarding skill training practices, along with the findings of the school administration and the expectations of the students, were discussed.
