Szilvia Szeszler, a travel writer for Hungary's national tourism magazine Az Utazo, arrived in Alanya with her team for new photography and article studies. ALTAV Vice President Mehmet Dahaoğlu met with Szeszler to exchange views regarding the new studies in the magazine and the bankruptcy of the Hungarian tour operator Green Travel. Szeszler expressed her gratitude to those involved, mentioning the operation to ensure that 800 Hungarian tourists in the Antalya region were sent home without being victimized following the bankruptcy of Green Travel.

Travel Writer Szilvia Szeszler, who featured Alanya photographs and articles in a total of 6 pages, including the cover, in Hungary's popular national tourism magazine Az Utazo, has arrived in Alanya. Szeszler, whom Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) Vice President Mehmet Dahaoğlu and Board Member Elvan Güneş met at the Hungary Tourism Fair, had highlighted Alanya, which is among the preference options for Hungarian citizens, in Az Utazo. Having visited Alanya through ALTAV in previous years and describing herself as an Alanya lover, Szeszler had always stood by Türkiye during periods when our country faced issues regarding its image abroad and had fought against smear campaigns abroad.
“GREEN TRAVEL HAS BEEN IN TROUBLE IN RECENT YEARS”
Stating that they hosted Szeszler in Alanya with his 3-person team for new photography and article work, ALTAV Vice President Mehmet Dahaoğlu said, “They are continuing their work in our region so that new articles and photographs can be featured in Az Utazo, which has been in publication for 19 years.” Regarding the recent bankruptcy of the Hungarian tour operator Green Travel, Dahaoğlu, who also met with Szeszler, said, “Alanya Association of Tourism Professionals (ALTİD) President Burhan Sili had spearheaded the operation to ensure that 800 Hungarian tourists located in the Antalya region were sent home without being victimized during the Green Travel bankruptcy. Szeszler emphasized that he strengthened the perspective of Hungarians and the tourism dynamics operating in the country toward Türkiye positively through this operation, which is shown as a success of Turkish tourism. Stating that Green Travel, which is among Hungary's largest tour operators, has already been in difficulty in recent years and was giving signals of bankruptcy, Szeszler conveyed his thanks to those who contributed so that Hungarians were sent to their countries without being victimized during their holidays in Türkiye,” he said.
