A delegation consisting of Alanya Mayor Hasan Sipahioğlu, Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vice Chairman Ali Kamburoğlu, and ALTİD President Gülçin Güner visited Fushun, the sister city of Alanya Municipality in China. Alanya Municipality and the Chinese city of Fushun have maintained a sister city relationship since 2004. In the meeting held on the first day, the Alanya delegation met with officials located at important points of the city. Fushun Mayor Luan Qingwei, Foreign Affairs Office Director Liu Hungling, Chamber of Industry President Su Ming, Tourism Director Zhang Shen Xing, and the city's Culture and Promotion Officer Li attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the brotherhood and cooperation relations between the two cities to date were evaluated, and future plans and projects were discussed.
Additionally, meetings were held to achieve different developments in the fields of culture, education, tourism, and economy. The subject of tourism product promotion was discussed, and both sides exchanged ideas on creating a travel route between the two cities. It was agreed to discuss potential exchanges and collaborations between small and medium-sized enterprises in the two cities together with the Fushun Chamber of Commerce. The visit of the Alanya delegation to Fushun was covered by Chinese national channels, and the newly elected Mayor held his first official meeting with Alanya.
The delegation will conduct examinations regarding the city's underground resources and natural riches, and following inter-institutional contacts, will return to Alanya on Saturday, September 21.
