The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) Management, which has been restructured under the chairmanship of Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, visited the Board of Directors of the Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD). During the meeting, Mayor Yücel, stating that they have been visiting chambers, associations, and institutions along with the newly formed management that includes non-governmental organizations, emphasized that the expanded new management is tourism-oriented. Expressing that working for Alanya stands above all interests, Yücel said, “As the foundation management, we are organizing a large cocktail that will bring together the people of Alanya and the peoples of the world living in Alanya. World peace is very important for tourism.”
“THE FOUNDATION MUST BE PROTECTED”
ALTİD President and Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED) Board Member Burhan Sili also stated that the negative developments occurring worldwide have a direct impact on tourism, saying, “The umbrella of ALTAV has expanded. Our Mayor, Mr. Yücel, has also committed himself to this endeavor. However, I hope that those who said yesterday that an expansion process was necessary will also stand by this matter and the foundation today.”
