The second edition of the Turkey Festival, first held last year and deemed successful, took place in Krasnaya Presnya Park in Moscow, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and coordinated by the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED), from August 10-12, 2018. With the contribution of some member hotels affiliated with the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD) and in cooperation with ALTAV, Alanya was represented with a 25 square meter stand within a 250 square meter area. Alanya promotional materials were distributed to Russian citizens, visitors took souvenir photos in front of Alanya visuals, and there was significant interest in the live DJ performance.
NUMERICAL DATA RELATED TO THE FESTIVAL:
Over 107,000 people visited.
Over 250 media representatives and bloggers showed interest.
More than 200 participants from Türkiye attended.
The promotional activities (advertising, public relations, social media) reached over 383 million people.
Over 25,000 people participated in Mega-Quest.
