Dr. G. Solar stated that Alanya's candidacy for the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list would provide significant contributions to tourism and that tour operators would sell the Alanya destination more extensively. He emphasized that historical texture and nature hold great importance not only in tourism but also in people's daily lives, and that the region should not be distanced from local communities to ensure that historical structures do not lose their traditional atmosphere.
