The season opening dinner, which was attended by Alanya District Governor Mr. Hulusi Doğan, Türkler Mayor Mr. Hayri Çavuşoğlu, Avsallar Mayor Mr. Enver Görgülü, and Güzelbağ Mayor Mr. Mehmet Kula, saw heavy participation from members. Association President Gülçin Güner provided members with information regarding activities conducted with the Ministry, Antalya and Alanya coordination board meetings, the May program of training seminars, and the 2009 agreements with music professional associations. Training seminars will be held with the District Directorate of Agriculture on matters to be considered in alcohol procurement and food safety, and with the District Health Group Presidency on water sanitation, pool cleaning and hygiene, and legionella. Additionally, a second lifeguard training course will be provided in May. In his speech, District Governor Hulusi Doğan addressed food safety, quality service, and the Alanya World Forest projects.
