The draw for the holiday gift event for 6 families, conducted by the Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD) as part of its promotional activities at the East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Fair (EMITT) held in Istanbul between January 28-31, took place at the ALTİD meeting hall. In a statement made following the draw, stating that the domestic tourism market is extremely important, Burhan Sili, Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED) and President of ALTİD, said, “In terms of the sustainability of our region's tourism, it needs to derive 20-25 percent benefit from the domestic market. In this sense, we have been participating uninterruptedly for 19 years in EMITT, which is accepted as the world's 5th largest tourism fair and is organized with the participation of more than 4,550 institutions, organizations, and municipalities from 70 countries. For the last 16 years, we have been introducing families to Alanya through the Alanya holiday draw, which has garnered great interest at our stand. Today, by conducting the draw for the applications received at the most recent fair, we gifted Alanya holidays to 6 families.”
