The Human Resources Managers Association (İNKAY) held a seminar in Alanya for managers working in the Human Resources departments of tourist facilities. In the meeting, which also featured Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD) President and Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED) Board Member Burhan Sili as a speaker, İNKAY President Avni Aker, Board Member Latife Kozan Eser, and Expert Psychologist Sinem Çelenk provided information regarding legal developments covering human resources and psychological issues concerning this field.

“THEY WORK IN THEIR OWN SECTORS”

In his speech, President Sili, stating that their 2023 target was set at over 80 million tourists, said, “There are expectations regarding the professional law. Within these expectations, it is necessary to introduce a requirement that tourism graduates be employed within the sector at least at certain levels within a legal framework. Simply introducing a requirement for tourism graduates to work in specific departments will mean that tourism diplomas will open doors to employment. Thus, those who have received training for this profession will secure more space in their own sector and will be effective in our reaching our targets.”
