Within the scope of the “Student-Friendly Accommodation Businesses Project,” established through the protocol partnership of Alanya, Oba, Tosmur, Kestel, and Mahmutlar Municipalities, Alanya Faculty of Business Administration, ALTİD, and ALTSO to meet the dormitory needs of students receiving higher education in Alanya, the “Student-Friendly Accommodation Businesses Logo and Certificate” was presented at ALTSO on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at 11:00.
Within the scope of the project granted to businesses that applied for the project implementation in question and were found to meet the necessary requirements during inspections, 8 facilities in Alanya are included within the system.
Alanya Mayor Hasan Sipahioğlu, Akdeniz University Alanya Faculty of Business Dean Prof. Dr. İbrahim Güngör, ALTSO President Mehmet Şahin and Assembly President Metin Atalay, ALTİD Vice President Hayriye Sadullahoğlu Argun, Akdeniz University Alanya Faculty of Education Dean Prof. Dr. Ali İhsan Neslitürk, Akdeniz University ALTSO Vocational School Director Mehmet Emin İnal, and tourism industry representatives attended the wreath-laying ceremony.
The Student-Friendly Accommodation Businesses Project was launched in 2011 to address the need for dormitories arising in parallel with the rapid increase in the number of students and higher education institutions in Alanya; rather than constructing new buildings, the project aims to ensure the use of accommodation facilities that remain idle during the winter months and to establish conditions suitable for a student dormitory concept in these facilities during the periods when students are staying. At the ceremony, the facilities registered into the system were: Lale Apart Otel, Klas Anex Suit Otel, Işılsu Apart Otel, Özdemir Apart Otel, and White & Blue Apart Otel.
