The 90th Anniversary of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day—which the Great Leader Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, presented as a gift to Turkish and World Children, and which marked the opening of a new era in the history of the Turkish Nation, the laying of the foundations of the State of the Republic of Türkiye, and the establishment of the principle of National Sovereignty—is being celebrated with awareness and insight in our district, as it is throughout the entire country.

Following the wreath-laying ceremony at the Atatürk Monument, the program includes the National Anthem, opening remarks, student speeches, poems, a parade, ballet and gymnastics performances, and folk dance shows at the Milli Egemenlik Stadium. Children arriving from Alanya's sister cities added color to the event.
