ALTİD held a meeting at the Gardenia Hotel to discuss the steps that hotel operators should take in the face of travel agency bankruptcies. During the meeting, Kaya Tüver, an official from an insurance company operating in the Mediterranean region, gave a presentation on Commercial Debt Insurance and its applications. ALTİD Chairman Burhan Sili announced that they would bring together members who were negatively affected by the Thomas Cook bankruptcy and initiate a legal process on an international scale.

Burhan Sili, Chairman of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), stated: "We will bring together our members who have been negatively affected by the bankruptcy of Thomas Cook and initiate the legal process."
ALTİD Chairman Sili, in his statement, said, "Just like with the Thomas Cook company, we need to form a united front to seek our rights domestically and internationally in cases of bankruptcies that harm our hoteliers." Sili stated that they aim to bring together the owners of businesses in the region who are owed money by Thomas Cook, one of the world's largest tour operators that recently declared bankruptcy, under the umbrella of ALTİD. "In this situation, we once again saw that, instead of acting individually, as we always emphasize, we need to form a united front in line with our common interests. Within this framework, we are following the process and initiating legal proceedings on an international scale."
