The Alanya stand drew great interest at the “Expo Batumi Travel 2017” international tourism fair held in the city of Batumi, GEORGIA. Anjelika Chezhia, a Georgian citizen and former President of the Alanya Russian-Speaking Solidarity Association, represented Alanya on behalf of the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation. Making a statement regarding the fair held in the country of approximately 3.5 million people, Chezhia said, “As ALTAV, we conducted promotional work within the 40-square-meter Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism stand. 80 tourism companies from Georgia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Ukraine, Poland, and Armenia participated in the fair. We received intense interest from tourism agencies. Georgians, who know the Black Sea well, also want to see the Mediterranean Region. The question of how to reach Alanya was asked the most. We provided information regarding connecting flights and the daily reciprocal bus services. Alanya promotional booklets, bags with the Alanya logo, and Alanya bracelets were very much loved by the Georgians.”
