Hızır Bozdoğan, a member of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD) who hosted the couple at a hotel during their earlier stays and has maintained a long-standing friendship, presented them with gifts. According to a report by Anadolu Ajansı, Gerhard and Reate Vogel, who have been vacationing in Alanya since 1989, are an example to local and foreign tourists with their love for Alanya. The couple, who worked in the public sector for many years, were advised by their daughter to visit Alanya 36 years ago and were immediately impressed. Since then, they have started visiting the district regularly every year. IMPRESSED BY ALANYA'S HOSPITALITY Gerhard Vogel stated that during their first visits, they toured cities in Turkey, saying, "We saw cities like Nevşehir and Kırşehir. However, Alanya's climate, the warmth of its people, and its sincerity greatly impressed us. Since then, we haven't gone anywhere else." Vogel mentioned that they have increased the frequency of their vacations since retirement, saying, "Now we come to Alanya 5 times a year and stay for an average of 4-5 weeks. We have visited a total of 101 times. We will continue to come to Turkey as long as our health allows." POPULAR AMONG FOREIGN TOURISTS The Vogel couple, who visit every year, are treated like family at the hotel in the Oba neighborhood, and they spend their vacation with the special attention of the hotel staff. Gerhard Vogel, who has difficulty walking, is taken to the beach by the staff, and his breakfast is served to him. Reate Vogel said, "We come here at least twice a year. We will continue to come to Alanya as long as our health allows."
