Short-Time Work Benefit Extended by 2 Months.

With a decision published in the Official Gazette on October 27, 2020, it has been decided to extend the short-time work benefit period for two more months. This extension covers workplaces that applied for short-time work benefits by June 30, 2020. The period will be valid following the two-month extension granted by Presidential Decree No. 2915, dated August 30, 2020.

A decision has been published in the Official Gazette dated October 27, 2020, extending the short-time work benefit period for workplaces that applied for short-time work by June 30, 2020, in accordance with the principles specified in the temporary 23rd article of Law No. 4447 on Unemployment Insurance. This extension, initially granted for two months by Presidential Decree No. 2915 dated August 30, 2020, has now been extended for an additional two months.
