Tanıtım
This year, Alanya made a grand appearance at the ITB Berlin Tourism Fair, held from March 5th to 7th, with a specially designed stand of 80 square meters.
Alanya continues to spread its name around the world as a tourism capital of Turkey. Alanya is being represented at the fair by Burhan Sili, Chairman of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice Chairman of ALTİD and the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV), Gürol Birgen, a member of the ALTAV Board of Directors, and Nevzat Özdemir, a member of the ALTAV Board of Directors. The fair, which is held annually, has been extensively prepared for by ALTAV and ALTİD, and the specially designed stand provides Alanya's tourism professionals with the opportunity to conduct meetings.
“There is a 30% increase in Germany.”

Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice President of ALTAV and ALTİD, made the following statement regarding the ITB Berlin fair: "We at ALTAV and ALTİD have been preparing for this fair for a long time. As a result of our efforts, we are continuing our activities at our carefully prepared stand, which aims to strengthen Alanya's presence on the international stage. Based on our discussions with tourism professionals, we can say that there has been a 30% increase in Germany for 2024 compared to the previous year. However, in our discussions, industry professionals also noted that, particularly among the older generation, Germany prefers Turkey. We discussed the need to work on attracting younger generations to our country and region. In this regard, we can research other tourist destinations that are popular with young people in Germany and develop activities and solutions for them in our country. This way, we can increase the likelihood of young people in Germany choosing Turkey. Furthermore, many agencies have purchased seats from Corendon Airlines to fly from six different cities in Germany to Gazipaşa-Alanya (GZP) Airport. They informed us that ongoing sales are also going well. If sales continue in the same way, the number of seats will be increased, and accordingly, the number of flights will also increase, and in the coming years, our Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport can reach the desired level."

Following the meetings and visits that took place on the first day, the interest of visitors and the discussions among tourism professionals at the Alanya stand continued intensely on the second day of the fair.
"MINISTER ERSOY VISITED THE ALANYA FAIRGROUND."

During the first day of the ITB Berlin fair, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, visited the Alanya stand and chatted with Alanya tourism professionals, making evaluations about the fair. In addition to Minister Ersoy, those who visited the Alanya stand included the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ersin Tatar, and the President of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), Eray Erdem. President Erdem and the ALTSO delegation supported Alanya's promotional activities for the German market at their stand at the ITB Berlin fair.

On the other hand, the Alanya stand became one of the most vibrant points of the fair, with colorful brochures, promotional materials specific to Alanya, and gifts. Throughout the day, visitors to the stand continued to learn about Alanya's beaches, historical castles, nature trails, and water sports facilities.
