The International Eastern Mediterranean Tourism & Travel Fair (EMITT), considered one of the top 5 largest tourism fairs in the world, was held for the 26th time at the Istanbul TÜYAP Congress and Fair Center. Alanya was represented by the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV). The fair, which took place from April 12th to 15th, was attended by 461 participants from 110 countries. Over 33,000 visitors attended the fair to learn about campaigns and destinations. At the fair, where Alanya had a special stand, Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED), and Chairman of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), Burhan Sili, Chairman of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), Eray Erdem, Chairman of the TÜRSAB Alanya Regional Representatives Committee (BTK), Kerim Sarıkaya, Vice Presidents of ALTİD and ALTAV, Mehmet Dahaoğlu, personally participated in Alanya's promotional activities and meetings.
