Burhan Sili, the Chairman of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), who participated in a panel organized by HOTED, made evaluations regarding the year 2024 and stated that they expect this season to be good.

The 34th Hotel Equipment - International Hotel and Hospitality Equipment Fair took place this year from January 16-19. At the fair, the Hotel Housekeeping Training and Decoration Association (HOTED) organized two panels under the title "The Main Problems of the Sector." ALTİD Chairman Burhan Sili, who answered questions posed to him during the panel and made statements about seasonal expectations, mentioned that current data indicates that the 2024 tourism season will be successful.

Chairman Sili, in his assessment, used the following words: "Despite the fluctuations experienced since 2015 due to various reasons, we managed to achieve recovery as of 2023. We anticipate a more positive year in 2024 both for our country and our region. Last year, we reached positive levels in per capita income in both Turkey and Antalya, and even achieved record figures. I can say that 2023 will be approximately 20% better than last year specifically for Alanya. Our impressions from the reservations to our facilities and the meetings we held abroad indicate this trend. Furthermore, throughout Turkey, both the Türkiye Turizm Tanıtım ve Geliştirme Ajansı (TGA) and our Ministry of Culture and Tourism have been carrying out efforts to diversify products and increase source markets, resulting in a process initiated with the motto 'Tourism in 81 Provinces'. It appears that, barring any unforeseen circumstances, a good year awaits us in terms of tourism throughout Turkey."
