Principal Uyar, providing information about the organization, stated that, along with İzmir Nevvar Salih İşgören Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (MTAL) and Gazipaşa Avukat Kemal Akça (MTAL) high schools, the project will involve students, teachers, and administrators undertaking internship training and a series of meetings in Germany.
"Tourism graduates should find their place in the sector."
ALTİD Chairman Sili stated that front office students will have the opportunity to experience the German approach to hotel management and automation systems and compare their observations with those made in Turkey. "Within the scope of the Erasmus+ project, our students will have the opportunity to develop their sectoral perspectives in Berlin, the capital of Germany, one of the countries that sends the most tourists to the world," he said. Sili also stated that the seasonality in Turkish tourism results in a significant shortage of qualified personnel. "We always support personnel training and projects like this in order to ensure that tourism graduates find their place in the sector and to extend their average working duration," he said.
