Those with mobility impairments will be able to access the sea using an automated rail system.

With the support of the Alanya Municipal Corporation, the Alanya Association of Tourism Operators (ALTİD), and the Western Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA), a platform has been installed at the Gökkuşağı Accessible Public Beach to provide access to the sea for individuals who use wheelchairs. Designed to be assembled and disassembled to avoid altering the beach's natural environment, this system, which is a first in Turkey, allows individuals with disabilities to enter the sea independently, without assistance. Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel stated that this project complies with the "Accessible City" regulations and will serve as an example for Turkey.

The Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), with the support of the Western Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA), has implemented the "Rainbow Accessible Public Beach" project. The Alanya Municipality has installed a platform for individuals using wheelchairs to access the sea at this beach.

An accessible beach platform, designed to enable individuals with disabilities to enter the sea independently without assistance, has been opened for use by people with disabilities. The project, which is a first in Turkey, was designed to be assembled and disassembled to avoid any alteration to the beach's natural structure. The platform, prepared before the summer season, can be installed before summer and removed during the winter months.

CHAIRMAN YÜCEL: "THIS WILL BE A PROJECT THAT SERVES AS AN EXAMPLE FOR TURKEY."

Adem Murat Yücel, the Mayor of Alanya Municipality, provided information about the implemented system, stating, "As Alanya Municipality, we take the lead in all social projects, and in line with the 'Accessible City' Regulation, we have launched another project. Our goal is to ensure that both residents and visitors with disabilities can benefit more from Kleopatra Beach, which is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world."
