The Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD) new management has completed the distribution of duties, following the election of Burhan Sili as president and the increase in the number of vice presidents to four. President Burhan Sili stated that efforts would continue with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to strengthen the tourism sector, and that a Consultative Board and a project board would be established specifically for Alanya. During the meeting, while topics such as projects, fairs, and personnel training were discussed, the committees within the association and the representative offices it holds in various boards in the city were also shared.

The new management, elected at the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD) general assembly on November 4, held its first meeting. By a decision taken at the meeting, the number of presidents was increased from two to four. In the meeting where the distribution of duties was carried out, Burhan Sili was elected as President, while Hızır Bozdoğan, Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Servet Şakiroğlu, and Ayşegül Dursun Karaca were appointed to the roles of vice presidents. Elvan Güneş became the Secretary General, and Halil Çakır became the treasurer. In the meeting, where the distribution of duties for committees was also conducted, studies to be carried out regarding projects, fairs, professional development, personnel training, and the universities and high school institutions providing this training were discussed.
“CONSULTATION AND PROJECT BOARD WILL BE ESTABLISHED”
In a speech delivered at the meeting, ALTİD President and Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED) Board Member Burhan Sili thanked the previous term members who served and the new board members who are joining forces for the work to be carried out in the new term. President Sili stated that they would continue their efforts in the new term, as they did in the previous term, to ensure the tourism sector—which is under the influence of developments occurring globally and throughout the country—attains a more robust structure, and that they will conduct work directed toward officials of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, either individually or through TÜROFED, to establish the legal regulations, incentives, and supports required by the sector. Furthermore, Sili, noting that a Consultative Board will be established regarding the point of collective decision-making in the process of taking steps toward tourism specifically for Alanya, expressed that a project committee will also be established where new ideas for the future will be put forward and discussed, and subsequently evaluated and implemented within the management.
“HOTELIER PROVIDED INTENSE SUPPORT TO PROMOTION ACTIVITIES”
Emphasizing that ALTİD is one of the most important institutions contributing both financially and morally to the promotional activities directed towards the Alanya brand, Sili stated that, as in the past, during their three years in office, in addition to the financial support provided to promotional activities and the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV), the efforts made by all institutions in the city towards the Alanya brand
emphasized that they also support promotional activities.
