Jolly Tur Honorary President Sinan Vardar and Football Technical Director Giray Bulak participated in a panel discussing the topics of “Different tourism markets” and “Sports tourism.” The panel, organized in cooperation with the Alanya Association of Tourism Professionals (ALTİD) and the Gerçek Alanya newspaper, was hosted by the famous TV presenter Ayla Çetinkaya. In the panel, which was moderated by ALTİD President and Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED) Board Member Burhan Sili, various topics were discussed, such as correct marketing strategies in tourism, the potential of the Chinese market and the 160 million Chinese citizens who travel abroad every year, Turkish tour operators who contribute to the development of the country's tourism and their processes of being erased from the sector, how Alanya could initiate football tourism by building 20 football fields, golf tourism, the importance of the Iranian market, which has high potential for residential property purchases, how the attention of this market could be drawn to Alanya by transferring Iranian football players to Alanyaspor, the process experienced by the bankrupt Tursem Travel Agency, Oger, and Kayı Tur, the importance of a cycling hall (velodrome), and the contributions that cycling teams camping in this field provide to the city. The meeting was attended by the Deputy General President of the Turkish Journalists Federation (TGF) and President of the Alanya Journalists Association (AGC) Mehmet Ali Dim, TÜROFED Board Member Gülçin Güner, former Alanya Mayor Hasan Sipahioğlu, owner of Gerçek Alanya Fazıl Tunç, Alanya Gökbel Plateau Wrestling Aga Kasımoğlu Kerim Yılmaz, Alanyaspor Coordinator Mevlüthan Çavuşoğlu, heads of non-governmental organizations, and tourism professionals.
