Reports of the examined institutions show that about one-third of tourists in the US, Austria, and the UK prefer to stay at environmentally friendly facilities. While a significant portion of travelers across Europe are aware of the importance of sustainable tourism, only a small proportion directly request green options. However, in Germany, this awareness is higher, with 42% of tourists preferring eco-friendly accommodation options.

When examining the work of institutions and organizations such as the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, TURSAB, Ecoturizm.org, UNWTO, and WTTC, it is observed that half of American, Austrian, and British tourists prefer to stay at environmentally friendly facilities. Twenty to thirty percent of European travelers are aware of the importance of sustainable tourism. Ten to twenty percent of them seek "greener" options for their vacations, while five to ten percent directly request them. Additionally, 42 percent of German tourists wish to stay at eco-friendly accommodations.
