Finlandiya’nın en büyük seyahat dergisi Mondo, 20 bin değerlendirme sonucunda farklı dallarda 2016’nın en iyi 10’ları seçti. Fin tatilciler ile yapılan anketin sonuçlarına göre Alanya “En iyi sahiller” kategorisinde 4.08 oy ortalamasıyla ikinciliği Endonezya’ya bağlı Bali Adası ile paylaştı. Bu kategoride oldukça güçlü rakipleriyle mücadele veren Alanya, Mayorka (İspanya), Sicilya (İtalya) ve Santorini (Yunanistan) gibi rakiplerini geride bırakırken listede birinci sırayı Phuket (Tayland) aldı.
“85 PERCENT ARE COMING TO ALANYA”
Stating that they attach great importance to Finland, one of Alanya's significant markets, through promotional activities such as beauty pageants, trade fair promotions, TV series and film shoots, sister city agreements, and press invitations, Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice President of the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) and the Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD), said, “Approximately 85 percent of Finns entering Turkey for holiday purposes from Finland prefer Alanya. We have strong ties in the tourism sector with the Finns who show interest in Alanya during the summer and winter periods.”

Stating that the fact that Finnish citizens gave high scores to Alanya's beaches according to the survey results is pleasing news not only for Alanya but also for the country's promotion, Dahaoğlu said, “I offer my thanks on behalf of Alanya and our country to the Finnish people for these evaluations. We will continue our Alanya promotion efforts with wide participation at the Matka Tourism Fair, which will be held in Finland's capital Helsinki on January 19-22, 2017, and where Turkey has also been selected as a partner country.”

Emphasizing that the beach buffet, cleaning, lifeguard, and security services of the Keykubat and Kleopatra beaches located in the center of Alanya, which are heavily preferred by tourists, are carried out by ALTİD, ALTİD President and Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED) Board Member Burhan Sili said, “It is also very pleasing for us that our beaches, which have achieved Blue Flag standards, are appreciated by Finnish vacationers.”
