The 2nd Grand Turkey Festival, held in Krasnaya Presnya Park in Moscow, was visited by 200,000 Russian citizens. Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice President of the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) and the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), stated that promoting Alanya at the festival was a correct decision, and that participation would continue if the event becomes a tradition. With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the coordination of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED), the festival featured promotions for Antalya and many other cities.

This year, the 2nd annual Turkey Festival, held in the capital of Russia, Moscow, was visited by 200,000 Russian tourists. The festival, held in Krasnaya Presnya Park, featured exhibitions and presentations in various fields, including traditional arts and gastronomy, as well as promotions for many cities, particularly Antalya, which is a popular destination for Russian tourists during the summer months. The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV), which was responsible for promoting Alanya, also attracted great interest with its campaigns. Russian visitors who wanted to win a trip to Alanya in a raffle formed long queues. According to information received from Russian officials, the number of visitors, which was 150,000 last year, exceeded 200,000 at the 2018 festival. Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice President of ALTAV and the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), stated, "Promotional activities are increasingly being replaced by festivals. As ALTAV, we are witnessing this change and are continuing our promotional efforts in a comprehensive manner. Supporting the Great Turkey Festival, which is organized under the coordination of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED) and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, to promote Alanya was a very effective decision. If this festival, which is held for the second time this year, becomes a tradition, we will continue our participation."
