The Alaaddin Keykubat Cyber Academy Foundation (AKSAV) and the Boğaziçi University Cyber Security Center (BÜSİBER) jointly organized an information conference on Cyber Security and the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, primarily targeting representatives and students in the tourism sector. The conference, held at Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ), attracted significant interest from university students. Professor Dr. Ahmet Pınarbaşı, Associate Professor Dr. Metin Bilgin, the Chairman of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED), Burhan Sili, Dr. Osman Coşkun, Hüseyin Bayazıt Ph.D, and Attorney Elif Petek Özlü delivered speeches. ALTİD Chairman Sili provided information on the needs and challenges related to the protection of personal information and cyber security in the tourism sector.
