The festival, which began in front of the Atatürk Monument, was attended by Nationalist Movement Party Deputy Chairmen Mehmet Günal and Mevlüt Karakaya, AK Party Antalya Deputy İbrahim Aydın, District Governor Dr. Hasan Tanrıseven, Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, Alanya Association of Tourism Professionals (ALTİD) President and Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED) Board Member Burhan Sili, members of the protocol, members of political parties and civil society organizations, and a large number of citizens.
THE PEOPLE OF ALANYA JOINED THE GREAT ENTHUSIASM
Citizens showed great interest in the Yörük Migration and parade march, which began with prayers in front of the Atatürk Monument. The Yörük Migration and parade march provided colorful scenes along the route. The grand march, attended by thousands of citizens, continued with a concert performed by the Antalya State Opera and Ballet Soloists and Orchestra at the Rıhtım Şelale Square.

Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel stated the following in his opening speech at the festival: “Our Alanya International Tourism and Art Festival, with the participation of our guests arriving from our sister cities, is Alanya’s window to the world and the meeting point of global cultures. In our International Tourism and Art Festival, which is the region's largest culture and arts festival, I believe that the people living in our district and our guests will experience three full days filled with concerts by renowned artists and various activities. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the non-governmental organizations, our Municipal staff, and our sponsors who contributed to the organization of our festival.”
CELEBRITIES FLOCKED IN
Additionally, the queen of pop music Demet Akalın, who performed on the first day of the Tourism and Art Festival, rocked Alanya with her songs. On the other two days of the festival, Şebnem Ferah and Serdar Ortaç also took the stage in turn.
