Members of the press from the Russian Federation were invited to Alanya within the framework of an organization held in cooperation between our Association and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Moscow Culture and Promotion Attaché Office.
The members of the press present in Alanya on September 8 and 11; Lüdmila TİTOVA from RIA-NOVOSTI News Agency, Arina Lebedevo from ITAR-TASS News Agency, Anna BASIROVA from VESTNIK ATOR (RF Tour Operators Association News Agency), and ALTİD President Gülçin Güner visited Alanya Mayor Av. Hasan SİPAHİOĞLU and Alanya District Governor Hulusi Doğan.
Following the visit, the guest delegation met at the ALTİD service building in a meeting with tourism facility operators who primarily serve the Russian market. In the meeting, which was attended by ALTİD Board Chair Gülçin Güner, Vice Chairs Hayriye Sadullahoğlu Argun and Hasan Şakiroğlu, and tourism professionals, an exchange of information was provided through mutual questions from tourism professionals and members of the press; the impressions of tourism professionals regarding Russian visitors, the implementation of the all-inclusive system in Türkiye, market policies, and the operational processes of working with suppliers were explained, and mutual research and impressions were shared. Russian press representatives also stated that Türkiye's very rapid response to recent tour bus accidents and alcohol poisoning incidents in Türkiye has reflected positively on Russia and that Türkiye has not lost trust due to this rapid intervention.
ALTİD President Gülçin Güner presented a handmade Alanya picture as a gift to the Association of Tour Operators of the Russian Federation following the meeting.
