Muammer Çınar, the newly appointed Director of Ümit Altay Anatolian Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational High School, and school teacher Necati Şevik visited the ALTİD board of directors during the weekly board meeting held on September 11, 2012. During the introductory visit, the sectoral theoretical and practical studies carried out between ALTİD and the school to date, the communication of sectoral views regarding the curriculum, and the distribution of student internships according to the needs of the accommodation sector were evaluated. Expressing gratitude to ALTİD for its support, school director Muammer Çınar made statements regarding the needs of the school. It was stated that difficulties are experienced in the sector regarding working principles stemming from intern students, and the necessity for students to prepare themselves regarding the self-sacrificing hotel service approach even before receiving skill training was noted.
