The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) Board of Directors Meeting was held at the Sunprime C-Lounge Hotel, with the participation of ALTAV Board members, chamber and association presidents, including Alanya District Governor Hasan Tanrıseven, ALTAV and Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, Alanya Association of Tourist Operators (ALTİD) President Burhan Sili, and Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) President Mehmet Şahin.
EYES ON THE GOLF COURSES
At the meeting, regional struggle against the expanding global economic crisis and sustainable tourism were discussed, primarily focusing on the increase of the promotion budget and budget planning in this regard, the duties assigned to institutions, the strategies to be followed in the 26 international fairs in which ALTAV will participate by setting up stands, the formation of a delegation led by District Governor Tanrıseven and Mayor Yücel to conduct visits with high-level foreign local government officials and tour operator representatives to establish Alanya's image as a reliable city, the continuation and intensification of the fight against touting and street solicitation in 2016 following the efforts made in 2015, and the prompt integration of the planned golf courses into tourism.
